Is there a fee for signing up or some sort of payment?
No. It costs nothing to participate.
What are the arrangements for workshops? Do you have to take part?
We only run workshops on demand. There is no obligation to take part.
We don’t want to share the name of our clients or specific projects.
You do not have to name projects or clients and we will not publish any details about them.
I’m an architect and I work for an architectural firm. Can I participate as a private individual?
The aim of the Phase Sustainability initiative is to allow architects to use the Declaration of Sustainability with building owners or clients to determine individual goals for their projects together. To do this, everyone at the architectural firm needs to be prepared to participate. For this reason it is unfortunately not possible for individuals to take part in workshops.
We’re not an architectural firm. Can we still sign on to the Phase Sustainability initiative?
The initiative was developed with architects on behalf of other architects. Specialist planning companies may be allowed to attend by special agreement. Are you interested in inputting your specific expertise to support the topic of sustainable building? If you are, please take a look at our network.
We’re not a German architectural firm. Can we still take part?
Absolutely!
What would happen if we didn’t actually achieve all the targets in the Declaration of Sustainability for all projects?
The Declaration of Sustainability can and should not replace contractual agreements – instead, it is intended to provide ideas regarding the sustainability goals that need to be considered during planning. Targets only become binding if and when they form part of a planning contract.
